Val Le Feuvre brought a 78 rpm vinyl disc to ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Guernsey's outside broadcast event at the Guernsey Museum. Val was a member of the choir which won the Guernsey Eisteddfod of 1950. It was led by Miss Florence Martel and consisted of about thirty members. Following their success, the choir assembled in the sound-proofed studio at the back of Fred G. Fuzzey LTD at 23 High St, St Peter Port. You had to walk through the music store to get to it. There they recorded half a dozen songs which were cut onto three discs. The choir performed in concerts and churches from the 1950s to the 1990s. The disc she brought in was a recording of "The Pilgrim Way".
