A Manaus oar

Contributed by lea-ann

People have used oars since boats were built and we have this special oar that was built in Manaus for roughly 12 years. My dad who loves boats brought it back from his trip to the Amazon. Before engines were made and put onto boats the only way to move the boat was to row using an oar or a similar object.
