Silver Tray from the 1920s

This tray is made from Chinese silver, and was brought back to UK by the contributor's grandfather who was in business in Hong Kong until 1937. Gifts such as these would have been exchanged by business partners. It's beautifully embossed with floral and geometric designs. Chinese silver is a compound used for jewellery.
