Dated from the 1930s, this is an example of ceramics made by Kingozan and was manufactured in Kyoto, and is known as 'satsuma ware'. This is a type of Japanese earthenware porcelain - the best known of which has an ivory crackled glaze an doriginated in the 16th century.
