We are just celebrating 100 years of Girl Guiding. this leather belt is from 1916. The lady who owned it, Miss Wills, donated it to the Girl Guiding Association in Cornwall. Attached to it is a special Girl Guide tool. The curved blade point is for getting small stones out of horses hooves. Other tools would also have been attached to the belt and there would have been a metal whistle.
