This ring, given to Mary Adams on her wedding day in 1968, was originally engraved with a daisy design but has worn flat and smooth over the years. Mary has worked on a Cornish farm all her married life and is no stranger to hard work. The wedding ring was bought locally in Truro. It is a universal symbol of commitment in marriage, common to most cultures around the world and yet very personal to each bride. Nowadays people spend thousands of pounds on wedding rings.
