This is a BSA Martini Henry Artillery Carbine from 1894. It was used by the 1st Argyll and Bute Royal Artillery Regiment as a small firearm. It was then decommissioned and used by cadets. It was found in a trunk in a vicarage in Wakefield in 1965. My uncle was renovating the Vicarage and gave it to the contributor when he was 8.
