This is a complete record of one individual's war service, including the medals he won. It was put together after the owner bought the 'Dead Man's Penny' in the bottom left of the frame, which has the soldiers name on it. The 'Dead Man's Penny' was a small bronze plaque sent to the next of kin of those who dies in the First World War. This allowed him to trace the details of the soldiers life and put the rest of the collection together.
