This fan is made from feathers, and has a humming bird at the centre. It originated in France - from the Mlles M&E Nashe - Fleuristes. It's unlikely these humming bird feathers could be used now. Queen Alexandra (1844-1825) led a campaign against the use of feathers in dress and accessories.
