This is a homemade French Canadian doll's cradle. It was handmade out of machine pieced wood. The blankets were made out of floursacks. It was bought in an antiques shop in Vancouver, BC Vancouver. It has been dated around 1900 and is an unusual design - the poles may have been used to drape a cover over to shield the baby doll.
