Grandma bought this in 1980s. Auntie Lucy is Paddington's aunt from Peru in Michael Bond's much loved bear tales. This is more than a toy - this was made to become a family heirloom and is beautifully made. A late 20th century example of how characters from children's fiction are commercially produced and go on to become permanent fixtures in children's toy cupboards.
