Roles and Responsibilities
- As General Manager for 成人快手 iPlayer, Kerensa is responsible for the strategy, growth and governance of the service.
- She works across the organisation with teams in content, marketing, product, distribution and data to plan, prioritise and implement initiatives that drive engagement and growth whilst also ensuring that 成人快手 iPlayer remains distinctive within the market and continues to meet the needs of British audiences.
- Kerensa also collaborates with teams to identify additional opportunities and initiatives for iPlayer (e.g. with Sports, News, Nations, Children's) whilst also aligning with the 成人快手鈥檚 broader digital portfolio.
Biography
Kerensa Samanidis joined the 成人快手 in June 2023 as its first General Manager for 成人快手 iPlayer. She is a highly experienced streaming industry leader and her 25 year career has focused on devising growth opportunities for a wide range of media and entertainment businesses across both public and commercial sectors.
Prior to the 成人快手, she was working with Channel 4 to develop and implement its international streaming business.
Kerensa鈥檚 career within the streaming industry began in the early 2000鈥檚 where she devised PlayStation鈥檚 first video-on-demand strategy. She then held leadership roles at WarnerMedia, AMC Networks and the BFI where she launched and managed a range of international streaming services. Kerensa also ran a successful consulting business with clients including BritBox International, 成人快手 and Channel 4 and she also held digital leadership roles at Hearst Magazines and HMV.
Expenses and central bookings
Expenses are costs incurred by 成人快手 staff on behalf of the 成人快手 and claimed through the 成人快手's expenses system.
Central bookings are costs incurred on behalf of the 成人快手 and booked through the 成人快手's central bookings system. Both expenses and central bookings are published every three months.

Declaration of personal interests
Staff must make a declaration of their personal and business interests, including any memberships or directorships of public or industry bodies, and any shareholdings, as well as any interests that their immediate families may also have.
A summary is published where there is something to declare and where there is nothing to declare. Occasionally an individual will have something to declare but due to the personal nature of the declaration we do not publish details as to do so would breach the General Data Protection Regulation.
This information is published annually, although if any amendments are made during the year an updated summary will be published if necessary as soon as it is available.
