Should 16-year-olds caught packing a blade be automatically prosecuted? At the moment they usually get cautioned. Police could get more powers to stop and search suspects if Gordon Brown has his way. He's talked to senior police officers about making the law tougher for under-18s in England and Wales. This comes just a week after a £3m anti-knife ad campaign was also launched by the government. |
