The range of music played is very wide, from classical, ballet and jazz to modern pop sounds.
The Orchestra also commissions and premieres new music - Composer in Association Anne Dudley has devised Club Classical, arrangements of chill out club themes for orchestra.

The orchestra performs on various 成人快手 Radio 3 programmes as well as appearing on many 成人快手 TV shows including the Proms.
The Orchestra can also be heard providing the soundtracks to various 成人快手 TV programmes including The Blue Planet, Walking with Dinosaurs, The Key, Wild Down Under and Peter Ackroyd's London.
They play many public concerts, most of which take place at the Royal Festival Hall in London. But they've also toured around the country and abroad.
Over the years the orchestra has performed with artists including Jools Holland, The Corrs, Dudley Moore, Shirley Bassey, Dionne Warwick, and Placido Domingo among others.
